Product Summary

Universal Fit, Straight Axle Front Suspension Type

Old school gasser axle kit has a 46″ axle and features a 54-1/4″ hub-to-hub measurement, wheel mounting surface to wheel mounting surface
11″ vented rotors resist heat and brake fade and have a 5 on 4-1/2″ bolt pattern with 1/2″-20 studs
Features common ’78-’88 GM metric calipers with a 2-1/2″ bore, offers easy serviceability and proven performance
New Forged 4140 steel ’37-’48 Ford round back spindles provide strength and dependability for years of service
Universal design to fit multiple vehicle applications, will require welding and fabrication.

Installation Tips !

If using steel wheels with Wilwood kit, you will also need to purchase (2) steel shims part 835-3007500. These shims will prevent steel wheels from galling the aluminum hub.
Rubber brake hoses generally cannot be adapted to Wilwood calipers. The caliper inlet fitting is a 1/8-27 NPT. The preferred method is to use steel adapter fittings at the caliper, either straight, 45 or 90 degree and enough steel braided line to allow for full suspension travel and turning radius, lock to lock.
